Receive care and support delivered with respect, dignity, privacy and courtesy
Receive ongoing assessment and review of their needs
Receive qualified, skilled and vetted care and support workers appropriate to the needs of individuals.
Be involved in the process of making decisions related to their individual situation and continuing care and community support.
Take appropriate risks in pursuance of their chosen lifestyle
HOME LIFE & PRIVACY:
Have their privacy protected and confidentiality maintained
Participate in meaningful and valued relationships
Raise issues that affect their personal lifestyle and comfort
Participate in organised and individual activities within the home
Access community facilities and resources
Exercise civil duties and legal rights
ADVOCACY & INFORMATION Practice their own advocacy, or to be supported by a third party of their choice, or an independent advocate appointed if they are unable to choose one
Receive information about all services available to them
Receive support to manage their personal and financial affairs
Refuse aspects of service without prejudice
Have access to their own records
Have complaints speedily and impartially investigated, and be informed of the outcome
