Oasis Care and Training Agency provides service to users either directly or on behalf of Local Authorities. Our Care Managers or Social Services Care Manager will have met users to agree a care plan. There is a copy of the care plan enclosed in the folder kept at the users' home. The care plan may list other service in addition to ours, from other organisations. We aim to work together to make sure users receive all the services that meet their needs. The care plan will include details on the type of service users are expected to receive from us e.g. Bathing service, Assistance with getting up out of bed, personal care, Shopping, Cleaning, preparing specific foods, Getting ready for bed and undressing etc. These tasks will be included in the service user's contract and it will expand on the quality of the service expected e.g. what time to expect the care worker to arrive. It should be noted, however, that this service may be withdrawn where a service user or a member of their household is: violent or abusive in a sexual or racial manner or behaves in a manner which the worker considers offensive. We take all the necessary steps in checking the type of person we provide as a carer and make sure they have the appropriate skills and attitude.
